Hey, I'm Girish Hegde Sr. UI/UX Designer from Bangalore

I’m a UI/UX designer with a Bachelor’s in Visual Arts, driven by a passion for

creative problem-solving and human-centered design.

My journey into UX began when I noticed how poorly designed digital experiences can hinder productivity - and how intuitive design can do the opposite. Over the years, I've honed my craft across several companies and client projects, translating both aesthetic sensibilities and user empathy into practical solutions. Outside of work, I recharge through creative hobbies that keep my design thinking fresh and grounded.

Sr. UX Designer - 2 years, 3 months

At OpenText, I contributed to multiple SaaS products within the networking domain, focusing on creating user-centric designs that improved usability and product adoption. I played a key role in evolving and maintaining a design system that ensured consistency across products, while streamlining collaboration between designers and developers.

Working closely with cross-functional teams - including product managers, engineers, and researchers - I helped shape workflows and features that addressed real user needs. My design approach combined research insights, visual design expertise, and interaction patterns to deliver scalable experiences across enterprise platforms.

UX Designer - 3 years 4months

At MicroFocus, I worked on enterprise-scale products with a focus on bridging user experience and visual design. My role involved creating intuitive interfaces and ensuring seamless workflows for complex networking and IT management solutions. Leveraging my Visual Arts background, I combined strong aesthetics with functional clarity to deliver designs that resonated with end-users.

I collaborated with cross-functional teams - including developers, QA, and product managers - to bring concepts from wireframes to production-ready interfaces. By conducting usability evaluations and iterative design improvements, I helped reduce product complexity and enhance adoption across diverse user groups.

Software Designer - 3 years 4months

At Regalix, I was responsible for delivering web design and visual communication solutions for leading technology clients including VMware, Hitachi, and Pure Storage. My role focused on designing marketing websites, landing pages, and digital campaigns that aligned with brand identity and business objectives.

In addition to web design, I collaborated with clients directly to understand their goals and create graphics and visual assets for explainer videos, presentations, and campaigns. This experience sharpened my ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging visuals that resonated with both enterprise and consumer audiences.

Graphic Designer - 3 years 4months

I began my career at Design Juice, working on a diverse mix of graphic and web design projects for clients across multiple industries and domains. This role gave me exposure to handling end-to-end creative processes - from understanding client requirements to delivering final design assets that aligned with their brand and business needs.

Collaborating with multiple clients simultaneously taught me to adapt to varied industries and design styles while ensuring quality and consistency. I worked on branding, marketing collateral, website layouts, and digital creatives, building a strong foundation in both visual communication and digital design.
